This is a 5 day-hiking trip to a fairly high altitude. The trekking route passes through some beautiful high altitude lakes. You can see the beautiful view of the Himalayas ranges and is one of the most popular trek in Bhutan. You will come across diverse flora as you pass through the ridge of the Mountain . It starts from Paro near the National Museum of Bhutan and ends in Motithang, Thimphu. The highest elevation on this trek is 4110 m.

  • Day 02. Hike to the Tiger’s Nest monastery (Paro Taktsang) | 7 Km | Hike: 4 hours.
  • Day 03. Paro – Jele Dzong (Start of Druk Path Trek in Bhutan) | Altitude: 3480 m | 8 Km | Hike: 3 hours.
  • Day 04. Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha | Altitude: 3770 m | 10 Km | Hike: 3 – 4 hours.
  • Day 05. Jangchulakha – Jimilangtsho | Altitude: 3700 m | 11 Km | Hike: 4 hours.
  • Day 06. Jimilangtsho – Simkota | Altitude: 4110 m | 11 Km | Hike: 4 hours.
  • Day 07. Simkota – Phajoding – Thimphu (End of the Druk Path Trek Itinerary) | 15 Km | Hike: 7 hours.
  • Day 08. Sightseeing in Thimphu | Altitude: 2334 m.
